Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 7 am–6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 54 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded cafes in Raleigh.

I love this place so much I had to start buying their coffee!! They have a great chai and latte. Even though I have their coffee at home I still go weekly! It’s nice to sit by the flowers right outside or take a walk around the loop.

The area was looking more chill today, so I decided to drop by and upon seeing the ingredients list I knew I was going to get something because all of the ingredients are very intentional and natural and healing. The owner Jackson was there and he was cool as heck does all kinds of events as well. Has another location. And I didn’t catch the name of the young guy who made my gold tea, which I just used half-and-half for the milk, but it is probably the best drink I’ve had in years of any kind. I think next time I’ll add a little extra light honey 🍯 the prices were normal and good, especially to be right there downtown for the quality of what you’re getting. Most places these days throw slop in a blender and call it coffee, but this is not that this is the opposite of that.

What a great new location for this coffee roastery and cafe !! Always done in a very artful way like you’d expect from Lucky Tree. In the middle of the park with so many cute tables to sit and enjoy the moment. The owner 🌹 Ashley 🌹 is an Angel as well as all others there !! Next time in downtown, have a peek and see the newest Lucky Tree ☕️ ♥️

We just happened upon this place while we were checking out the jazz night at Moore Square. We weren't expecting this place to be here, as the last time we were here there was a burger shop that neither of us wanted to try. We were so excited to find this place here! But only is the staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable, but almost everything is gluten free and vegan. My husband got a local beer and I got a cider from Starrlight Mead in Pittsboro. Very good all the way around. After speaking to them for awhile, I found out that almost everything is made in house and is gluten free and vegan. This place is awesome! If you haven't been here yet, or checked our their other location on Hillsborough Street, you are really missing out on a local gem. We will definitely be back!

It’s a cool new place on Moor square. Drinks and snacks are good. Quite wide variety to choose. We enjoyed Hibiscus tea and ice cream. Everything was yummy. I appreciate the option to customize my drink to make it less sweet because all American drinks are too sweet to me as an European. The cafe is nicely decorated. There are tables outside in shadow, so you can relax and enjoy your drink or snack. Recommend 👍
